Warm Hellos!

My name is Kristine, and I am a freelance writer and editor located on beautiful Vancouver Island. For four years, I was a Creative Writing student at the University of Victoria specializing in Fiction and Screenwriting. My fourth year culminated in a whirlwind of long-form writing. I wrote the first seven chapters of a novel, and I completed the screenplay for a children’s animated feature film, Flightless. Later, that script ranked in the top ten in the Vancouver International Women in TV and Film Festival Screenplay Competition. The novel is still a work in progress, but it is gratifying to watch it grow bit by bit.

Since graduating in 2016, I have worked as a freelance journalist, a blogger, real estate writer, a script editor, and an SEO specialist. Today, I work out of my home office as a freelance writer and editor. When I am not at my desk, my partner and I are working on the completion of our tiny home on wheels and exploring the hundreds of nature trails with our border collie, Winnie.
