Kristine Stephenson: Writer and Editor
Who doesn’t love a good story? My love of story has led me to become a children’s puppeteer, screenwriter, novelist, blogger, and editor. It’s brought me to the University of Victoria where I acquired a BFA in Creative Writing, specializing in novels and screenplays. It’s taken me to today where I work from my home on Vancouver Island as a freelance writer and editor. It would be my pleasure to join you on your journey and help you create that elusive thing we’re all searching for: a good story.

Novel Editing
Every novel needs an editor. The novel writing process is a long, challenging one. By the time you’ve finished your first draft, there’s nothing more helpful than an objective, well-trained eye to help you make your novel the best it can possibly be.
I offer three different levels of editing, depending on which draft of your novel you are in:

Screenplay Editing
The film industry is competitive, and you want to give an impeccable first impression. Writing for screen is particularly challenging because of the unique formatting required. I can help you work out in the kinks in your story and format your script like a pro.
Writing Services
I have worked as both a creative writer and a professional writer. I have experience with journalism, blogging, and magazine writing.
